The American Task Force on Palestine (ATFP) is proud to announce that Mr. Adnan Mjalli, Ph.D, Chairman, President and CEO of TransTech Pharma, has partnered with the state of North Carolina to invest more than $23 million and create 205 jobs in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry fields during the next five years in High Point, North Carolina. The expansion was made possible in part by a state Job Development Investment Grant and was announced by North Carolina Governor Mike Easley.

Dr. Mjalli is a member of the board of directors of ATFP and an internationally recognized expert in drug discovery and development of new medicines in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. In addition to founding TransTech Pharma, he currently serves as Chairman of the Board of PharmaCore a drug discovery tool company, having previously been its founder, President and CEO. Dr. Mjalli is the author of more than 40 scientific papers and an inventor on more than 620 patents and patent applications.

Dr. Mjalli has been the recipient of several awards and honors including: the 2007 “Fast 50 Award” honoring the Triad’s 50 fastest growing private companies and their CEOs.
