The United Nations is submitting the 30th bi-weekly report on the implementation of the 15
November 2005 Agreement on Movement and Access (AMA), covering the period 27 December 2006
– 9 January 2007 inclusive.
1. Overall Progress:
The only significant change in the operations of the crossing points during this reporting period
was at Rafah which was open for almost half the scheduled hours. This is the most Rafah has been
operational in a period since 25 June 2006.
The AMA target for the number of truckloads of goods exported through Karni was set at 400 per
day by the end of 2006. The current average number is 42 (11%).
