Gaza medical spokesman Adham Abu Salmiya told Ma'an that two people were seriously wounded and five moderately injured when Israeli forces opened fire on Beit Lahiya, north Gaza, and east of Gaza City. Most of the victims were farmers, Abu Salmiya said. An Israeli army spokeswoman said forces opened fire toward "several suspects approaching the security fence." |

Foundation: Court delays verdict in Rachel Corrie case

At the last hearing in July, Judge Oded Gershon said he would deliver a verdict in April 2012. The verdict has been postponed due to delays in the filing of closing arguments, the foundation said in a statement. A new verdict date has not been set, the foundation added. |
