Arab League (AL) Secretary General Nabil al-Arabi and his secretariat staff will organize Sunday a stand in solidarity with Palestinians in the main entrance of the AL headquarter in Cairo downtown, a statement issued by AL said Thursday.
The stand comes in the same day for launching ceremony of the " Palestinian National Youth week 2012" festival.
In its statement, the pan-Arab body said Arabi will deliver a speech via video conference for the Palestinians in their youth week, which will be inaugurated by their leader Mahmoud Abbas. Missions from 21 Arab states will participate in the event.
The first day of the event will be dedicated to the Palestinian national identity which was embodied by Late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, while the second day will be a cultural one under the title "know your country" to display the Palestinian people's history of struggle and sacrifices.
The statement added Nov. 15 is the climax of the event, which is the independence anniversary day, when the Palestinian people could deliver their message without being sieged by Israel.
