Vandals unsuccessfully tried to torch a Palestinian taxi cab at the entrance to the village of Danya in the southern Hebron Hills region late Sunday night, in what police are investigating as a 'price tag' incident.
The vandals also spray-painted "tag mahir" (price tag) on a nearby wall.
Also Monday, police from the YAMAR central investigative unit brought two juveniles suspected of involvement in a series of price tag incidents to the Jerusalem juvenile court, where they had their remands extended until Thursday.
Ch.-Insp. Dudi Asraf, spokesman for the Judea and Samaria police said the two youths were arrested Sunday night on suspicion of being involved in the vandalism of cars belonging to Israeli Arabs in Jerusalem, and for puncturing tires and plastering "death to the Arabs" stickers on Palestinian cars near the West Bank settlement of Beitar Ilit.
Asraf added that the investigation against them does not include any incidents of violence against Palestinians.
