Pinera briefed the Jordanian king on results of his visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories.
The two leaders stressed the need for intensified efforts to create an independent and viable Palestinian state in line with the two-state solution, Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh said after seeing off Pinera at the airport.
The two sides also discussed means to activate bilateral ties, especially in fields of economy and investments.
They also underlined the need for enhancing cooperation in fields of renewable and alternative energy, industry, water, agriculture.
