Noa Nir
Intern--Summer 2011
BACK TO STAFF PAGE
Noa Nir is a resident of Arlington, Virginia, and a member of the College of William and Mary's Class of 2014. She is an aspiring English major with a concentration in Creative Writing, but she enjoys William and Mary's Religious Studies and Literary and Cultural Studies departments. On campus, she is the editor of jump!, a literary magazine; and in the summers of 2008 and 2009, she interned for Americans for Peace Now. That internship--along with her Israeli background and experience living in Jerusalem during the Second Intifada--has heightened her interest in the Middle East. Her desire to better understand the Palestinian aspect of the conflict was a driving force in applying for an internship with ATFP. Noa hopes to continue her involvement in Middle East issues when she returns to William and Mary.
